Lorenzo Santamaría makes his debut as a solo artist by the early 70´s, taking his name after his natal village of Santa Maria del Camí, Mallorca.
His first LP is released in 1973 and his second in 1975, named “Para que no me olvides”. He achieves his number one status with 2 great romantic ballads: “Para que no me olvides” and “Si tu fueras mi mujer”. Later on, in 1980, he hits again the number one spot with “Bailemos”.
In 1995 he released Corazón de Rock & Roll with Divucsa and during those years he participated in Divucsa´s “Mágicos 60” project, which united some of the greatest artist of the 60´s: Jeanette, Karina, Tony Ronald, Micky and Elsa Baeza.
He has also worked as an actor in “Barrios altos”, “Crónica sentimental en rojo” and some TV series.
